Woman urged to dump her boyfriend after watching him play with her dog on CCTV
A man’s lighthearted comment to his girlfriend’s dog left people divided – with some urging the woman to dump him.
The woman shared a video on TikTok capturing the awkward moment – and it has racked up nearly four million views since being uploaded.
In the caption of the video, she joked: “Cameras are a woman’s best friend.”
She added: “Saw my bf was out playing with my dog today so I checked the cameras to see how it went…”
As the dog can be seen standing in the background, the man was captured on CCTV walking up to the house, where he drops off a dog toy.
He can be heard muttering “d***” before he enters the house.
People were left divided over the video – with some viewers urging the woman to dump her boyfriend.
The clip has racked up 3.7 million views and more than 230,000 likes.
One person commented: “You need a new man,” alongside three laughing emojis.”
Another replied: “Leave him, he can’t treat your baby right.”
A third added: “Ha, no, if he ain’t treat my dogs like his babies THEN HE GOTTA GO.”
But others sensibly pointed out that this would be a huge overreaction.
One fellow dog owner blasted: “None of you telling her to leave him have owned a dog and it shows.”
Another replied: “I’m pretty sure he wanted to play with the dog but the dog wouldn’t come for the toy.
“It’s a joke, y’all mad for what?”
A third agreed, adding: “Don’t see why people are mad? I’ve said the same thing to mine when he quits playing.
“Like damn bro I was having fun.”
Another responded: “Some of you don’t know how it feels when you try to give your dog love and attention and it doesn’t phase them.”
Following the backlash, the woman uploaded another video to show the close bond between her boyfriend and dog.
She added: “They’re literally BFFs, sorry to disappoint.”
In the video, she commented: “For everyone saying I should leave my bf for calling my dog a d***, I think things are going fine,” alongside a montage of clips featuring the duo.
One viewer replied: “Crazy how some people see one video that’s 10 seconds and say you should break up.”
